There is no shelter building full of staff — everything we do is powered by people who step up.

Ways You Can Help

Please indicate all areas where you are able and willing to assist:

Amazon Donation Pick-Up – Rockford
Pet Supplies Plus Donation Pick-Up – Crystal Lake
Transport to and from veterinary offices
Transport supplies to foster homes
Event assistance (adoption events, fundraisers, outreach)
TNR assistance (Trap-Neuter-Return projects)

Even helping once or twice a month makes a meaningful impact in a foster-based rescue.

TNR & Community Impact

Trap-Neuter-Return is one of the most important and preventative parts of our mission.

TNR helps stop the cycle of unwanted litters, improves colony health, and supports long-term community solutions. We are expanding our TNR and community outreach efforts and need volunteers willing to assist with:

Colony trapping projects
Transport to and from spay/neuter clinics
Colony monitoring
Community education and outreach
